About Living Journal
Mitch Wasden is the founder and President of Living Journal. He was born and raised in Southern Utah, where he currently resides with his family. He enjoys hobbies such as racquetball, graphic design, and watching the stock market. His favorite activity is spending time with his family.
During his career, Mitch has had many opportunities that have helped him develop a strong work ethic and good business sense. From working in a warehouse to bank management then off to being the Sales Manager for a developer in Southern Utah, and a professional sales trainer and coach for an international company, he has had a good taste of customer service and awareness. Mitch said of work: “The ultimate satisfaction from work comes from knowing that you have helped someone have a better day and given them a product that you believe in.”
His ability to work with people directly and a keen sense of awareness to their needs was part of the fuel that inspired Living Journal. It began with an idea in about 2003. When he was living with his grandparents while going to college, he had the idea that he wanted to record people and their experiences on film so that their families would have those stories forever. “There are so many people that have wonderful stories and experiences that only get shared verbally, and not enough people record them,” said Mitch. “I want to preserve those memories so that family and loved ones can see and hear them as they come from the source.”
Living Journal’s aim is to capture your life experiences, counsel, and most memorable stories in a professional DVD production that your family and loved ones will treasure for generations to come. It is absolutely essential to preserve them so that we can pass our wisdom, counsel, and parts of us on to our loved ones.
